Book Details
First Sentence
"Depending on which version [of the distorted tale] you read, the members of Solar Lodge were either enlightened, enigmatic, passionate and powerful spiritual seekers, or immoral, deluded Satanists with a penchant for sadism. Some accounts even manage to combine these wildly differing perspectives, creating a preposterously contradictory bittersweet confection. Virtually all are heavily laced with outrageous fabrications and gross misconceptions. So I thought it was time to set the record straight. But who am I to be so bold? Well, I was there. I Am Shiva the destroyer. I destroy illusion. Until 1972, I was the Grand Secretary General of Solar Lodge. I started writing these True Tales of Initiation and High Adventure in 1970 in the city of Ensenada, Baja California during the time when we were lying low under the scanning radar of the Establishment. [Note: The FBI was searching for the leaders of Solar Lodge]. Solar Lodge utilized the initiation rites of the O.T.O., but its curriculum was that of the A.'.A.'.. I know this to be so because I developed and overshadowed the training program, administered all of the examinations and participated in most of the rituals of initiatory advancement."
