First Sentence

"Free Radicals and Antioxidants: Partially reduced forms of oxygen including superoxide anion, hydroxyl radical, nitric oxide and hydrogen peroxide and other radical based reactive species such as hypochlorous acid can cause structural alterations of DNA, membrane lipid peroxidation, modifications to the enzyme structure, depolymerization of polysaccharides and finally impose an extensive damage to cause cell dysfunction and death (Halliwell, 1996)."
