Wonders and the Word

An Examination of Issues Raised by John Wimber and the Vineyard Movement

  • 2 Want to read

This book is an examination of the challenges John Wimber and his Vineyard movement have posed to mainline, Anabaptist, and evangelical churches in general and, in particular, to the Mennonite Brethren Church. It is the intent of the writers of this book not to concern themselves primarily with minor questions of whether John Wimber is right or wrong. Rather, this book concentrates on the ideas raised by Wimber. There are things to be learned from him. The need for the church's revival and renewal is ongoing.
