Kimball Mcllroy has a message for the reader. It is that purchasing antique furniture can get you into a lot of trouble. After a couple leaves their academic life to run an inn in Vermont, they find that all the young wives who sleep in the antique four-poster bed they purchased for the bridal suite find themselves pregnant soon after.
