"Planetary containment is the study of planets in consecutive groups of three, as they fall together in zodiac. In terms of an astrological chart, one always looks at the planets in counterclockwise order, that is, forward through the zodiac. The distance between the planets does not matter in this context, nor do the signs in which the planets are found, nor do the houses. The only thing that does concern us in planetary containment is the adjacency of the three planets in question."
