Vol. 1 is a translation of L'esploratore turco, by G.P. Marana, first published Paris, 1684. Subsequent vols. have been variously attributed, but were probably edited by Robert Midgley from William Bradshaw's translation of the original Italian MS. Cf. Halkett & Laing; ESTC.

General t.p. in v. 1 only; each vol. has special t.p.
