Some of the ledger's carry either of the 2 following headings: Treasurer's Office of the Miami University at Hamilton; and Secretary's office of the Miami University at Hamilton. Both of these headings change to read "at Oxford" in 1821
Method of arrangement has evolved through the years. Some material is repeated from one vol. to another. Some ending dates are not found at the end of the ledger; be prepared to search a ledger on either side of the given volume dates
