This book documents the genealogy research by George Griffith of the Clevenger family. The first known Clevenger in the US was George Clevenger who was born about 1654. The book includes Griffith's research for George Clevenger in the British Isles before he emmigrated. From that first George Clevenger, he traces many lines of Clevengers as they migrated west. His stated purpose(s) were to preserve his data and make it readily available to others. Secondly, he hoped to eliminate duplicate searching of the same records and sources.
