According to the statement of the compiler in the introduction, the present pamphlet forms the third part of a work prepared by himself, of which the first part treats of Venezuela, New Grenanda, the West Indies, Mexico, Virginia, Florida, etc., and the 2nd part of Peru and Chile.

The name "Ian Canin" has been stamped in type at the foot of the title on all copies seen, evidently after the book had been printed.
