Martineau thanks Garrison for his proposal to write his "acknowledgements on behalf of the Cause", and states her hope that this might be published in the Daily News. Martineau closes by asking Garrison to send her regards to Elizabeth Pease Nichol should he be with her upon receipt of the letter.
