A transl. of La Florida del Ynca, 1st pub. Lisbon, 1605. This transl. is from the French of Pierre Richelet 1st pub. Paris, 1670 under title Histoire de la Floride, but it is based on the Amsterdam, 1737 ed. of L'Histoire de la conquete de la Floride, which appeared as part of vol. 2 (dated MDCCXXVI [i.e. 1737] of the author's Histoire des Yncas rois du Perou.
Includes translations of the preface to the Paris, 1709 ed. and the preface to the 1737 ed., which includes a bibliography of the works of Pierre Richelet.
John Carter Brown Library copy: the sheet containing p. 1-16 has been incorrectly folded and bound.
