Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

This letter by Samuel May, Jr., is entirely concerned with a change of plans for the disposal of a screen, which was donated from Leeds, England, to the anti-slavery bazaar. Samuel May explains his role in this matter. The change was due to an inability to sell enough raffle tickets in Worcester, resulting in either retaining the screen for another year or selling it by subscription and presentation to a water cure establishment.
