About the Book

Superstition #14
it's good luck to own a black cat

Unless that cat is actually an accent Egyptian Goddess trapped on Earth.

Scott must find a way to keep his sanity, keep his girlfriend, and stay out of jail.

After a run of bad luck, and the local Superstionist didn’t make it better, did he kill her?

Scott inherits Beth’s beloved cat. A cat with a troubled past, trouble she caused.

Lucky (the cat) must find a way to break a curse from Osiris, another God, or be doomed to walk the Earth till the end of time.

Will Scott save her, or will he find out if cats do have nine lives.

First Sentence

Scott Parson’s alarm awoke him at 4:40AM. “Ah, man, morning already” Scott grunted, as he lifted his head and swung his arm over to hit the off button on his alarm clock, he rolled over and sat up in his bed, and climbed out beneath the sheets. “The first day off spring break, and I am waking up even earlier then if I were going to school” he thought to himself as he staggered to the closet selected a pair of slacks. He pulled the hanger off the pole that held the clothing up, as he did an umbrella fell on the floor and popped open.
