El arzobispo de gorro azul

Published 2006 by Ediciones Vieira in Querétaro .

About the Book

This charming collection of short stories describes the life in the central part of Mexico known as Bajio. It is in these old towns, full of history and tradition, that these stories take place, particularly in the city of Queretaro, that the author knows intimately. One of these short stories has been selected to be included –in translation– in the book “Mexico: a Traveler’s Literary Companion,” that was just published in the US. The spirit of these stories and their setting is permeated of the same magic as the author’s previous novel, “Historias íntimas de la casa de Don Eulogio.”
