I wanted to add to this site that I am a direct ancestor of Richard Kidder and Bishop Meade --William Perry Moore, IV of Virginia Beach, VA.
Our family has the original portraits from Edward Dalton Marchant of Bishop Meade and his wife Thomasia. We also have his original "Old Families of Virginia" book (I can't remember the exact name as I write this), and many of his letters.
If you are in fact a member of his family tree, I would like to hear more from you.
