Relato del viaje que el anticuario británico Francis Carter realizó entre septiembre de 1772 y julio de 1773 entre Gibraltar y Málaga. Además de una minuciosa descripción de ambas ciudades, también se describen los lugares más significativos del litoral y la Serranía de Ronda entre ambas, con especial interés en la descripción del paisaje y la historia. La descripción de Carter es una de las más admirables muestra de la literatura de viajes de la época.

Work Description

Account of the journey that the British antiquarian Francis Carter made between September 1772 and July 1773 between Gibraltar and Malaga. In addition to a detailed description of both cities, it also describes the most significant places of the coast and the Serrania de Ronda between them, with special interest in the description of the landscape and history. Carter's description is one of the most admirable examples of travel literature of the time.
