In a Japanese restaurant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, six elderly men gather for a reunion dinner. After their meal they admire an engraved cigarette case owned by one of them. Then they are given their instructions.
The man with the cigarette case is Josef Mengele, former Nazi doctor, the instructions a timetable for the assassination of ninety-four insignificant civil servants — men whose deaths would trigger the final victory of the Fourth Reich .
