Tivisco de Nasao Zarco y Colona is a pseudonym. This work is attributed to Manuel de Carvalho de Ataíde, according to Barbosa Machado and Porbase
Despite the claim that this is volume one of the publication, no more were printed
Although Novello de Bonis was a fairly prolific printer in Naples at this time, Porbase claimes that this work was printed in Lisbon between 169- and 1703
Genealogical work on the noble families of Portugal and its colonies, including Brazil. Some scholars conjecture that it reveals the true genealogy of Christopher Columbus as an illegitimate son of Fernando, the nephew of Prince Henry the Navigator. This work was eventually forbidden and all copies were ordered to be apprehended by a royal decree of August 28, 1703 which claimed that the work was without merit or truth
