Subject: Wrong Date
The date is clearly wrong. The book was printed in Czechoslovakia, a country which didn’t exist in 1900. The author published her other books over half a century later (e.g. https://www.worldcat.org/title/cooking-the-italian-way/oclc/64803 in 1969, https://www.worldcat.org/title/italy-welcome-to-italy/oclc/70509143 in 1984). There are also stylistic hints (such as use of the term “pasta”), which would date the book no earlier than the 1940s or 1950s.
