The present volume, ending on p. 535 with "Finis primae partis," discusses laws 1-105 of book 50, title 17 (De diversis regulis iuris antiqui) of Justinian's Digesta; author was planning a 2nd volume containing two more parts (cf. prelim. p. [7], in his Ad lectorem) but no more appears to have been published.
