"The magistrats and Council of this city ordains the sett, decreet arbitral, and the same Acts of the Town Council to be printed and published."

The sett is dated April 22, 1583; the Acts are dated Oct. 1, 1678, Oct. 5, 1658, and Mar. 4, 1673.

Includes (5th group): Act anent the town clerks : Edinburgh, the twenty seventh of August, one thousand six hundreth seventy five years.
