This book is about using work as a avenue of personal development. Because the author is a highly realized Tibetan Lama, it also touches on spiritual development as well. The basic goal of the book is to address the malaise that infects the Western approach to work that makes 75% (?) of us say we do not enjoy the work we do. The exercises and theory provided are intended to help the reader and practitioner develop a new approach to work and life that is based in mindfulness, awareness, concentration which leads to balance, inner freedom and joy under all circumstances.
