Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy quarterbound in modern brown goatskin and papier tourniquet. The spine is tooled and stamped in gilt. The bookplate of the BPL Schofield Fund is present on the front pastedown. Various ca. 19th-century inscriptions are present on the recto and verso of the front flyleaf. The embossed stamp of the BPL is present on the first leaf, along with an early marginal note in French. Tipped-in before the 8th leaf is a folded sheet with an early biographical inscription pertaining to Poggio Bracciolini. Initial spaces are rubricated in red throughout. The seven-line initial space on leaf [8] is illuminated, with a hand-painted coat of arms at the center and a border of vines running into the margin containing the name, "I. de Bussul". Leaves [30], [31], and any leaves after [94] are wanting and replaced in modern manuscript. The text block is oversewn and inspection of original sewing structure is not possible.
