Boston Public Library (Allen A. Brown Collection) copy a "bound-with" volume of multiple works, half-bound in green/black/brown marbled papers and green leather (faded to brown in much of spine) over boards. Binder's spine title and decorative device of the Boston Public Library in gilt. Front pastedown includes ex libris (bookplate) of the Boston Public Library, featuring a portrait of Robert Charles Billings, and identifying copy as purchased with "the income of the Robert Charles Billings Fund". Front cover and flyleaf detached from spine binding. Printed on antique laid papers with visible chainlines, wire lines, and watermark. First title page includes perforation stamp of the Boston Public Library. Rear pastedown includes ink stamp of the Boston Public Library Bindery, dated "JUN 25 1886".
