The geology of the East Bull Lake layered complex was investigated in order to produce a geological map and to describe the mineralogy, textured characteristics and geochemistry of the rock types. This allowed the identification of the intrusion's mode of emplacement, crystallization history and origin. Goode's bottom crystallization layering model was successful in explaining the intrusion with thte exception of the isomodal layers. A speculative model was proposed to account for emplacement.
