Verse in thirty-four numbered stanzas; first line: Awake my drousy [sic] muse within.
$Asa Burt ... was killed by the falling of a tree. A poem of thirty-four verses was written to commemorate the event by the Rev. Lemuel Haines, a colored preacher.$--Burnham, R.H. Genealogical record of Henry and Ulalia Burt, 1892, p. 63.
Ebenezer Watson was the only printer active at Hartford in 1774.
