The frontispiece depicts the statue of Herkommannus (i.e., the dead weight of tradition) erected at the Kukus Bad; this satiric dialogue (especially on lawyers & law courts) was commissioned by Franz Anton von Sporck who admired Sinold's earlier work, Der weise und tugendhaffte Epictetus in der Sauerbrunnen-Cur zu Schwalbach, Leipzig, 1719; prefatory poems by Friedrich August von Hackmann, by Michael Richey, also two long poems by Sinold.
