This book is a history of the First Dunboe Presbyterian Church in Articlave, Dunboe Parish, Co. Londonderry, Northern Ireland as told by Rev. James Mark, minister of the First Dunboe. Included are comments regarding Rev. Mark's visit to America to raise funds for his own church. In his visit, he stopped at several "daughter" churches that had be founded by emigrants of the First Dunboe. In particular he mentions Presbyterian churches at Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe) and Summit Hill in Carbon CO., PA, and the now defunct Bridge St. Presbyterian Church in Catasauqua, Lehigh Co., PA. The book will be of interest to genealogists and church historians.
