By profession Journalist. Started his career by publishing and editing a journal 'Rail Mazdoor'from Patna. Later on joined the news agency 'Hindustan Samachar' and was posted at Patna & Kathmandu. From there he joined 'The Indian Nation' a prominent english daily of Bihar where he stayed there till retirement first posted at Jamshedpur and then at Patna & Bokaro. Also worked with Hindustan Times. The book happened after his stint at Kathmandu.
