Jon Cotner
<b>Jon Cotner</b> is a poet and walk artist based in New York City. He is best known for his guided walks around New York City and environs, including an <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/07/nyregion/island-night-a-walk-across-fire-island.html">all-night walk around Fire Island</a> and the "<a href="http://www.elastic-city.org/walks/spontaneous-society-ev">Spontaneous Society</a>" project which requires participants to use provided phrases to strike up conversations with strangers. Cotner and collaborator Andy Fitch are the authors of <i>Ten Walks, Two Talks</i> (2010), an innovative work of dialogical poetry, in addition to numerous other works and papers.
