Lous K. Lowy

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Louis K. Lowy moved to South Florida at the age of seven.

A former firefighter, he is the recipient of a State of Florida Individual Artist Fellowship. His non-fiction, poems, and short stories have appeared in Coral Living Magazine, New Plains Review, Merge, Ethereal Tales, Bête Noire, Pushing Out the Boat, The MacGuffin Magazine, Enizagam Journal, The Toucan Magazine, and The Chaffey Review.

His poem “Poetry Workshop” was a second place winner of Winning Writers Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest.

Die Laughing, was published in Sept., 2011 by IFWG Publishing. It is a humorously dark sci-fi tale set in the 1950’s of flying saucers, communist paranoia, and live television.

He is currently polishing up a second novel, and working toward the end of a third one.
