Christiaan Hendrik Persoon

[Nederlands] Christiaan Hendrik Persoon (geb. 1761 in Stellenbosch, West-Kaap, Zuid Afrika; overl. 1836 in Parijs, Frankrijk) was een Zuid-Afrikaanse mycoloog en botanicus. Hij wordt wel beschouwd als de 'vader van de systematische mycologie'. De officiële botanische auteur afkorting is "PERS.".
