Riccardo Quinto

1961 -

Riccardo Quinto (Pieve di Cadore, 1961) insegna Storia della filosofia presso l’Università di Padova ed è uno studioso del pensiero filosofico-teologico del medioevo e della prima età moderna. Accanto a numerosi saggi apparsi su riviste specializzate, ha pubblicato i volumi “Doctor Nominatissimus”. Stefano Langton († 1228) e la tradizione delle sue opere (Münster 1994), “Scholastica”. Storia di un concetto (Padova 2001), Manoscritti medievali nella Biblioteca dei Redentoristi di Venezia (Padova 2006) e A difesa dell'Università (Padova 2009) [tr. it. di Jérôme de Hangest, De Academiis in Lutherum, 1532]. Coordina l'edizione critica delle "Quaestiones theologiae" di Stephen Langton (m. 1228) per la serie degli "Auctores Britannici Medii Aevi".
E' direttore responsabile di "Medioevo. Rivista di Storia della filosofia medievale" (Il Poligrafo, Padova); curator di "Archa Verbi. Yearbook for the Study of Medieval Theology" e della collana "Archa Verbi. Subsidia" (Aschendorff Verlag, Münster); co-editor di "Medieval Sermon Studies Newsletter" (Maney Publishing, Leeds); co-editor della collana "Sermo: Studies in Patristic, Medieval, and Reformation Sermons and Preaching" (Brepols Publishers, Turnhout).
