Mary Wings (b. 1949) is a San Francisco-based writer, artist, and musician. She is known for authoring the world's first lesbian underground comic book, Come Out Comix, and for her Emma Victor series of mystery novels. Her Gothic novel Divine Victim earned her the 1993 Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Mystery. Before becoming a famous author, Wings studied at Shimer College and later also at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. (from Shimer College Wiki)
