Il est frère de l'auteur dramatique Alexandre Duval (1767–1842) et l'un de ses deux fils est le peintre Eugène Emmanuel Amaury-Duval (1808–1885).

Sein Bruder war der Architekt, Schriftsteller und Theaterdirektor Alexandre Vincent Pineux Duval (1767–1842) und einer seiner zwei Söhne war der Maler Eugène Emmanuel Amaury-Duval (1808–1885).

[English] Charles-Alexandre-Amaury Pineux, known as Amaury Duval (b. 1760 at Rennes; d. 1838 at Paris) was a French lawyer, diplomat, writer and scholar. His brother was the playwright Alexandre Vincent Pineux Duval (1767–1842) and one of his two sons was the painter Eugène Emmanuel Amaury-Duval (1808–1885).
