Janet R. Terner

1938 -

Janet R. Terner (b. 1938) is a fine-art photographer based in Delaware. Her photographs of Delaware nature and architecture have won numerous prizes. The polymathic Ms. Terner is also the author of The Courage to Be Imperfect: The Life and Work of Rudolf Dreikurs (1978), and worked for many years in the Library of Congress, where she edited and compiled a number of bibliographic reference works, including Biographical sources in the sciences. Terner attended Shimer College in Illinois at the age of 16 (thanks to Shimer's early entrant program), graduating in 1958. She holds a master's degree in the history of natural science from the University of Wisconsin. (from Shimer College Wiki)
