Carl Bezold

[Deutsch] Carl Bezold (* 1859 in Donauwörth; † 1922 in Heidelberg) war ein deutscher Orientalist. Ursprünglich am Chinesischen interessiert und aus dem Syrischen übersetzend, wurde er später als Assyriologe namhaft.

[English] Carl Bezold (1859 in Donauwörth; 1922 in Heidelberg) was a German orientalist. He initially had an interest in Chinese, and translated from Syriac. He became known as an Assyriologist.
