This was the first book of Agatha Christie's I've read where Miss Jane Marple is the featured character. I absolutely loved her cleverness and perseverance. The reading was involved and there was a slew of characters to keep up with which made it all the more fun. When I saw the title of the book, I mistook nemesis to mean enemy, but it has an altogether different meaning in the book. So, I learned something. Miss Marple's manners are refreshing as is her train of thought, and her keen sense of evil. She realizes she has a special talent, but does not like to draw attention to herself. I hope that I can be as delightful of a soul as Miss Marple when I am older.
