This book, Itan Edagbon Mwen "A History of My Life", is an autobiography written in Edo by Chief Jacob Uwadiae Egharevba, M.B.E., Hon. D.Litt. the Obakhavbaye of Benin. Chief Egharevba is a foremost Benin historian who has dedicated himself since 1917, after his primary education, almost single-handedly to the documentary preservation of Edo history and culture.
