Fisher inc copy: Engraved port. of Filelfo mounted before text. Large initials added, alternating in red and blue; initial marks and paragraph strokes added in red; traces of ornamental initial on recto of leaf [1]. Paper has been lightly washed resulting in fading of blue ink, including contemporary MS. annotations. With the armorial bookplate of Syston Park [Baronet Thorold, Cf. Franks 29398] and the ex libris bookplate of John Vertue, first Catholic Bishop of Portsmouth.
