Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy half-bound in marbled papers and brown leather over boards. Leather binding features gilt bordering. Spine includes spine title, authors' name, and volume numeration, along with decorative devices and bars, in gilt. Front pastedown includes binders' ticket at head-/fore-edge, and armorial ex libris (bookplate) of John Amory Lowell (featuring a hand clutching arrows in its center). Ex libris includes autograph (of "Alice de V. Clarke") in blue ink script. Printed on antique laid papers featuring vertical chainlines, horizontal wire lines, and watermark visible at head-/spine-edge of page. Verso of title page includes accession number in pencil at head.
