In Juli 20011the access to an online database about antibiotics, antimycotics, antiseptics and disinfectants was opened to the public. Neither charges nor registration are necessary to view the database.

It covers over 600 licensed drugs of the markets of Japan, USA and Europe - total over 70.000 data records. Its name is AmicBase Drugs-Online 2011.

The database displays detailed antibiotic spectra, activity ranges, kind of antibiotic classes - their members, trade names and much more. Combined searches in several database fields are enabled by using the search modul (Recherche ...). Data is actual up to the year 2006.
