About the Book

Childrens picture book. Contains Chromo-lithograph images and poetry. The images were painted by Mrs Mack whose maiden name was Lizzie Lawson. She is fairly well known, one of her paintings is held in The Victoria and Albert museum. She and her husband Robert Elice Mack produced other books, one of them being Christmas Roses. (This can be viewed at the Gutenberg Project website)
