Edition Notes
There are minor inconsistencies between the prose and the formatted genealogy report, as well as a few typos, so it is recommended that this book be used in conjunction with other sources. For example, on p. 74 Jesse Andrew Lofton is listed without an accompanying number or letter to show his relationship, so one must guess. On p. 71 William A. Watkins is numbered 6, but this number is a duplicate; however, it falls between 6 and 8, and therefore should be 7. Further genealogical information about Levin Watkins, his siblings Mitchell and Peter, and the Watkins family, is available on the web through search engines.
