"Brief historical overview is followed by rather poorly reproduced maps, sketches, and architectual drawings related to the Cuyo district (including Mendoza and San Juan), culled from archives in Spain and America. Largest number of illustrations are either general maps or road maps, although sketches of urban and rural terrenos are also numerous.
