A souvenir program from Mei Lanfang's first American tour, 1930. The program includes articles about Chinese drama, costumes, stage properties, musical instruments, and synopsis of touring repertoire of 12 dance numbers and 11 plays. (Including Mu-Lan in the Army, the basis for the Disney animated film.) The last page includes a newspaper clipping of an incomplete article about the company from a San Francisco newspaper. —Digital Transgender Archive
