About the Book

Egyptian wisdom that reminds us of the Biblical book of Proverbs. Translated from an original papyrus bought by Sir E.A. Wallis Budge from an antiquarian in Luxor in the year 1888. The original scroll dates from the 22nd dynasty according to Budge. The back side of the papyrus contains other work from the hand of Amen em Ope.
