Edison and employees of his firm for improvements in incandescent lamps and methods of manufacture, fittings and fixtures, electric dynamo machines, electric railroads, and electrical generation and distribution systems; volume III (1885-1894) contains codes for insurance underwriters in the United States to create national standards for electrical construction and operation.
