About the Book
Originally published in 1904, Nostromo is considered be one of Conrad's best novels. The characters in this book are a stunning and extremely pessimistic examination of the evil within all humans. Even the hero (Nostromo) sir comes to temptation and greed at times, which makes him a hero we all can relate too. Please Note: This book is easy to read in true text, not scanned images that can sometimes be difficult to decipher. The Microsoft eBook has a contents page linked to the chapter headings for easy navigation. The Adobe eBook has bookmarks at chapter headings and is printable up to two full copies per year. Both versions are text searchable.
