“For God And The Bible” |

John the Baptist pointed to Jesus as the Messiah. This book points to the Bible in an apologetic manner, but the best thing is the Bible itself. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Logos, the written word and also the Rama, the spoken word. He was the word of God made flesh. |

Recent critics have yet to come to the opinion of Napoleon that the Bible is a living book. The addenda tract at the end of this book argues for creation (as against evolution) by a designing creator, but books buy scientific authors mentioned in the text: “Science Speaks” by Dr. Peter Stoner, “Am I Intelligent” by Raymond G. Hand and “Count Down”, by G.B. Hardy give convincing arguments for God using scientific methods. The inescapable evidence of God’s providence is seen in “The Book of Nature” (Romans 1:19, 20) |

The making of prayers by Christians, at the scopes monkey trial in Dayton Tennessee could have, I believe, given William Jennings Bryan a good argument for creation as against evolution thusly: If there is a random evolutionary process that causes monkeys to evolve into men, why is it that all monkeys do not evolve into men? If the process if it exists is selective, that is it changed some monkeys into men, but not all in general, that is, it could have changed all monkeys into men, it is not a really existing process, it is an assumption, presumption and speculation. |

Besides this, when men leave off argumentation to just grasp evolution for what it can personally give them, in an unguarded moment, they can confess that espousing the theory of evolution can give them freedom to engage in sexual activities without having to worry that they will have to give an account to a moral governing power, that is, the God of creation. |

Modern culture is to some degree and instances, countering God and His Bible (and Kingdom) by putting forth Harry Potter magic books, causing children to offer animal sacrifices secretly without telling their parents is another. People who knowingly use methods that deceive others will eventually realize that deceivers themselves were the ones most deceived.—Jack Lease, November 2010 |

Thanks and credit is given to the various authors and publishers who gave their permission to quote their works, as well as the many unnamed philosophers and thinkers who contributed ideas that went into the work, the whole, of course, being made possible by the Lord Jesus Christ in whom are hid all the treasures of Wisdom and knowledge. |
